I was invited to a breakfast at Tiffany for Roselle’s SS 2013 collection reveal. It was great to finally meet Maha AlQattan, the designer behind the label, and a group of friends and bloggers in a very friendly and elegant atmosphere. The setup was simple and timeless with white table covers, classic flower arrangements, and Tiffany blue little details. Roselle’s collection was brilliant as always, with elegant pieces that I absolutely loved. The blue & white kaftans were my favorite. Add to them a few pieces of Tiffany’s jewelry and life will be allll good.

No3 Design (don’t you just love the name?) is a new fashion line by Bushra Badri & Ameera AlKhaja that launched this weekend in Dubai (photos of the launch event will be posted soon). As I was growing up my mother would always speak of her love for Kuwait and Kuwaiti designs (in many fields), but I didn't understand her fascination well until I started discovering the Kuwaiti design scene through it's online presence. This scene is not only extremely active and vibrant, but also prolific and diverse. more>>
